To help your appointment run smoothly and achieve the best possible results, please read the following before attending. By Christie is located inside Astoria Ink. Please arrive on time, there is a waiting room if you're early. If paying by cash, please bring the correct amount as I do not carry change. Please arrive with a clean, makeup free face. For the best foundation application, gently exfoliate, cleanse and moisturise the night before and again before your appointment. Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment and avoid picking at your skin. If you are prone to hay fever, watery eyes or allergies, please take your usual precautions before your appointment, such as allergy relief or eye drops. Please let me know before your appointment if you have any allergies or sensitivities to makeup or skincare products. Makeup enhances the skin but does not remove natural texture. Fine lines, pores, facial hair, blemishes and skin texture may still be visible after makeup is applied. If facial hair is something you would prefer to minimise, dermaplaning or threading prior to your appointment may help. Please have inspiration photos ready at the beginning of your appointment. Small changes can usually be made at the end of the application, however major changes to the overall look may not be possible once the makeup is complete. If you would like makeup applied to your décolletage, please wear a low cut or easily adjustable top. Please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind potentially getting makeup on. Although care is taken, accidental product transfer can occur. Please keep your face relaxed and minimise talking, facial expressions, phone use and chewing gum while makeup is being applied. Please attend your appointment alone unless you are part of a group booking. If you have lash extensions, you are welcome to keep them on. Please be aware that makeup application around the lashes may occasionally cause extensions to loosen or fall out. If you are also having your hair styled, washing your hair the day or night before is recommended. Please arrive with clean, dry hair that is not oily. Please have your hair tied back or bring a headband to keep it away from your face during makeup application. If you are unwell, have recently been unwell, or have a contagious skin or eye condition, please contact me before attending. You may be required to reschedule your appointment. There is on street parking available nearby, along with multiple paid car parks within a short walking distance of the studio. Please note that the studio is located upstairs and is accessed via four short flights of stairs. Full terms and conditions are available on the website and are provided before booking.
